InfoChimps Raises $2.8M More

Austin-based Infochimps, the developer of software used for implementing big data infrastructure in the cloud, has raised $2.8M in a debt funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. Details on the funding have not been announced by the company. The filing indicates the firm is in the midst of raising $3.0M in the funding effort, which also included $305,000 raised in April of 2012. Infochimps has previously raised funding from DFJ Mercury.
