Infochimps Release New Cloud Software

Austin-based Infochimps announced this morning that it has released a new version of its cloud software, Infochimps Cloud, the company's cloud-based analytics software. Infochimps said the newly updated software is aimed at companies who are running any kind of cloud, whether that's the public cloud and something like Amazon Web Services, or a virtual private cloud or internal corporate data center. The firm said the latest release now includes support for VMware vSphere private clouds; deployment of Infochimps into any private cloud; ability to migrate data applications between different clouds; and more.
