Macheen Adds Austin Tech Vet Tom Meredith To Board

Austin-based cloud connectivity provider Macheen has tapped Austin high technology veteran Tom Meredith--the former CFO of Motorola, former Managing Director of Dell Ventures, and CFO of Dell--to its board, the company said Monday. Meredith is the current co-founder and general partner of investment firm Meritage Capital, L.P., and also serves on the boards of Bazaarvoice and Brightstar Corporation. Meredith was on the board of Motorola Mobility, and served as CFO of Motorola, Managing Director at Dell Ventures, CFO of Dell, and VP and Treasurer at Sun Microsystems.

Macheen develops cloud-based services which enable all kinds of consumer electronics devices--including tablets, PCs, portable gaming devices, and more--to connect instantly to the Internet through multiple Internet or data services without setup.
