Bazaarvoice Adds Meredith To Board

Austin-based Bazaarvoice, the developer of ecommerce ratings and reviews software-as-a-service, said Wednesday that it has added well known investor Tom Meredith to its board of directors. Meredith is currently co-founder and general partner of Meritage Capital, and also has previously served as CFO of Motorola, at Dell Ventures, SVP of Business Development and Strategy at Dell, as well as VP at Sun Microsystems. According to Bazaarvoice, Meredith will help provide the firm with expert guidance as its sixth board member and Audit Chair. Meredith is also an adjunct processor at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, among other positions. Bazaarvoice's software is widely used by e-commerce retailers to handle their ratings and review functions on their online stores.
