Digital Realty Buys Dallas Data Center

Data center operator Digital Realty Trust has acquired a data center in Dallas, the firm said Wednesday. According to Digital Realty Trust, the operating data center in Dallas totals 61,750 square feet, and was purchased for approximately $8.5M. The firm said the facility is leased on a long term basis to a provider of business, information technology, and communications solutions. Name of that client, and the name of the company it acquired the data center from was not announced by the company. Digital Realty already has operations in Dallas, which is a major national data center location.
