Bypass Mobile Catches $3.5M For Entertainment Point-of-Sale
Austin-based Bypass, the startup developing tablet-based, point-of-sale equipment aimed at entertainment venues, has scored $3.5M in a Series A funding round, the firm disclosed Wednesday. The new funding was led by eBay and AEG. The firm, which is headed by Brandon Lloyd, develops software which leverage existing tablet and mobile hardware to offer up point-of-sale functionality at major entertainment venues such as the Pepsi Center, the Barclays Center, and more. The firm offers up hardware at cost and charges per-month for access to its software and services to those entertainment venues. More information »
