Spanning Cloud Adds Google Apps Auditing Tool

In a move which makes Google's suite of cloud-based service more palatable to enterprise administrators, Austin's Spanning Cloud Apps said this morning thatit has added a new Audit Log application for Google Apps administrators. Spanning Cloud said the mobile app lets administrators know when changes are made to their domain settings, letting them monitor those domains when they are on the go. Spanning Cloud is a developer of enterprise data backup software for Google Apps. The new app monitors new and deleted users, changes to user settings, changes to document permissions and other administrative actions. The firm is backed by Foundry Ventures.
