Think Finance Hires Google Exec

Fort Worth-based online financial products firm ThinkFinance said Thursday that it has snagged a former Google executive, as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. The venture-backed company--which has received funds from Sequoia Capital and Technology Crossover Ventures--said it has hired Marcella Butler as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. Butler was most recently at Google, where she spent five years across a number of corporate development, finance and people operations, according to the firm. She also served at Pershing Square Capital management, Sanford Bernstein LLC, and Egon Zehner International, McKinsey & Company and Morgan Stanley & Co, Inc. Think Finance is headed by Ken Rees, and is developing products which the firm say bridge the gap between payday loans and credit cards.
