Wisegate Gets $3M More

Austin's Wisegate, the IT research service headed by Sara Gates, has $3M more in its pocket today, after announcing a new round of funding. According to Wisegate, the funding came from the Atlanta Technology Angels, Cowtown Angel Network, Central Texas Angel Network and Golden Seeds. The company will use the funding to expand its base of IT senior IT professionals and build out new member services. Wisegate helps senior technology execs find peers to share and learn from others in the industry, in an unbiased and private environment. As part of the funding, Wisegate said it has added former Burton Group CEO Jamie Lewis to its board. More information »
