Tabbedout Bolsters Engineering Team

Austin-based Tabbedout, the developer of mobile payment apps for restaurants, announced this morning that it has added two technology vets to its engineering executive team. The company said it has named Lance Obermeyer as CTO, and Tom Bernhardt as Executive VP of Product and Strategy. Obermeyer was most recently co-founder of Digby, and also served at Pervasive Software and Liaison Technology. Bernhardt was founder of Mission Critical Software, and also has been involved as CTO of NetIQ, Tidal Software, and Digilife. Tabbedout develops mobile apps which let restaurant and bar patrons keep a tab on their smartphone, and pay that tab anytime using their phone.
