Zynga Shuts Dallas Offices In Big Layoff
The Dallas offices of social games developer Zynga are being shut as part of a company-wide layoff, the game maker said Monday. Zynga said it is shutting its New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas locations as part of what it called a "substantial" cost reduction. Zynga said it is looking to save $70M to $80M in cash expense savings through the cuts. Zynga is cutting 520 employees, or approximately 18 percent of its workforce.
