HelioVolt Gets $19M More
Austin-based thin film solar manufacturer HelioVolt said Monday that it has received $19M more in an investment, from SK Group, the Korean conglomerate. According to HelioVolt, it will use the funding to expand its commercialization of its technology. Heliovolt said the move is a prelude to a global capacity expansion for the company. HelioVolt is developing CIGS (Copper, Indium, Gallium, Selenium) solar modules. More information »
