MapMyFitness Steals Away VP From Uber

Austin-based MapMyFitness, the developer of mobile apps and websites focused on fitness, running, and cycling, said yesterday that it has named Edward Hubbard as its new Vice President, Platform Solutions. Hubbard joins the company from smartphone driven ride service Uber Technologies. MapMyFitness said Hubbard was most recently VP of Business Development at Uber, responsible for strategic business deals at Uber, dealing with the NFL Players Association, Facebook, Google and Virgin America.
