Rackspace Ramps OpenStack Education Efforts

San Antonio-based Rackspace Hosting, which has been one of the principal drivers of the OpenStack, open cloud hosting software movement, is ramping its education efforts in the area, the company said this week. Rackspace said it has added four new classroom-based courses, and a training partner program, in an effort to expand adoption of OpenStack. OpenStack is an open source set of tools and software aimed at allowing any Internet service provider to provide cloud-based hosting in a standard way.
