Volusion Targets Enterprise Ecommerce With New Product
Austin-based e-commerce platform developer Volusion is targeting enterprise customers with a new product, which it says provides unified shopping across the web, mobile, and retail stores. The company--which previously had only targeted small and medium sized businesses--says its new Mozu platform specifically is targeted at large and growing companies. Volusion said it expects its new Mozu platform to be generally available in January of 2014. Volusion, headed by Clay Olivier, has been offering up e-commerce software for the last ten years; the new product looks to be the company's first foray into the enterprise/large company market. Volusion says its platform for the small business market currently powers over 40,000 online stores.
