Volusion Hires Exec

Austin-based Volusion, a provider of ecommerce tools and shopping cart software, said this morning that it has hired on David Mitzenmacher as the firm's Chief Customer Officer. According to Volusion, Mitzenmacher joins the firm from Rackspace. Mitzenmacher has also served at GL Services, FedEx/Kinko's, and PureNet. Volusion develops ecommerce software used by online merchants to manage their shopping carts, product catalogs, and other online ecommerce efforts; the firm's customers include Motorola, Disney, Crutchfield, and others.
