ShipEngine Links with E-Commerce Provider Volusion

Austin-based ShipEngine, which develops shipping and logistics software, said it has linked with e-commerce provider Volusion, to power a new in-app shipping feature for Volusion. According to the two, the partnership will provide a new in-app shipping feature, Instant Postage, to the small- and medium-sized businesses who use Volusion. Financial details of the link were not announced. ShipEngine's application programming interfaces (APIs) allow developers to integrate shipping and logistics features into their e-commerce software; the company is owned by Stamps.com.
