Boxer Gets $3M For Mobile Inbox App

Austin-based Boxer, a developer of mobile email applications, announced this morning that it has raised $3M in a seed funding round. The round was led by Sutter Hill Ventures. Boxer, which is headed by Andrew Eye, said it is developing email applications for mobile platforms, which include an open integration platform and connections into such services as Box, Dropbox, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Eye is the former COO of Ciphent; the company's exec team also includes Adam Cianfichi, Ian Ragsdale (OtherInbox), and Timothy Sullivan (Zynga). More information »
