Boxer Acquires Android Email App Developer

Austin-based Boxer, the developer of mobile inbox software, said today that it has acquired Enhanced Email, a developer of Android email apps. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Boxer--which is backed by Sutter Hill Ventures, Central Texas Angel Network, and others--said the move will help it bolster its Android expertise. Enhanced Email was led by Daniel Ochoa. Boxer said the move will expedite its delivery of an Android version of its sotware.
