RealPage Buys ActiveBuilding

Carollton, Texas-based RealPage said today that it has acquired ActiveBuilding, the operator of a platform which provides a portal for apartment owners and apartment residents. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. ActiveBuilding's software includes a messaging service for residents, automated package tracking, an online community, and other social features tied into the life of apartment residents. ActiveBuilding was based in Seattle, where it will continue to operate.
