Pivot3 Names Nash As New CEO

Austin-based storage appliance developer Pivot3 announced this morning that it has appointed investor and chairman Ron Nash as its CEO, to head up growth efforts at the company. Nash has been on Pivot3's board since 2005, and previousy had served in an operational role at such companies as ExoLink, Advanced Telemarketing (Aegis Global) and Rubicon, along with Perot Systems and EDS. Nash was most recently at venture capital investor InterWest Partners. Former CEO and founder Bill Gallow shifts fully to his role as CTO. Pivot3 recently raised a big, $14M investment round. The company's equipment is used heavily in the video surveillance and virtual desktop markets.
