Starmount Snags Series A

Austin-based Starmount, which develosp mobile, point-of-sale software for retailers, annoucned it has raised a Series A funding round this morning. The funding came from Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, from the Kayne Partners Fund. Size of the funding round was not announced. Starmount, which is led by Joe Halloum, said it will use the new funding for growth capital. Starmount's software is used by retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, Perry Ellis, Home Depot, Pep Boys and others. More information »
