Blinds.com Acquired By Home Depot

Houston-based online retailer Blinds.com--which sells blinds, curtains, and other window coverings--has been acquired by Home Depot, Home Depot announced late Thursday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Home Depot said the move will help it learn about the "unique" online sales and service model used by Blinds.com. Blinds.com was founded in 1996. Blinds.com will remain in Houston. Blinds.com was founded by Jay Steinfeld.
