Revionics Names Chairman

Austin-based merchandising software developer Revionics announced this morning that it has named President and CEO Marc Hafner as its Chairman of the board. Hafner has been the company's President and CEO since 2010. The company said the move will help it with strategic planning and growth efforts. Revionics develops pricing optimization software used by retailers and others to set the optimal pricing on their products. Revionics moved its headquarters here back in October of 2013; the firm is backed by Motorola, Sierra Ventures, and others.
