Macheen Ties With Samsung

Austin-based Macheen, the provider of mobile broadband services, which is looking to unbundle wireless and mobile access to enable application-level cloud access, said today that it has tied with Samsung, as part of a Samsung ISV partner program. Macheen said it is participating in Samsung's Enterprise Application Partner program (SEAP) as an ISV Partner. Macheen did not say how the relationship would help the company. Macheen develops a mobile data service which lets companies and users only be billed for broadband access for specific applications--for example, corporate email--which it says saves companies mobile data costs and the additional benefit of helping companies enforce security and other corporate policies.
