Software Advice Acquired By Gartner

Austin-based Software Advice, a company that provides software reviews and information for enterprise customers, has been acquired by information technology research and analysis provider Gartner. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Software Advice employed approximately 100. Gartners announced the acquisition this morning. Software Advice was advised by Vista Point Advisors in the deal. Software Advice was led and founded by Don Fornes; the company was founded in 2004.
