Advice Interactive Buys Scanther Mobile

Mckinney-based Advice Interactive Group, which provides local search and digital marketing technology, has acquired Austin-based mobile app developer Scanther Mobile, the company said this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Advice Interactive said the acquisition will help it add mobile app technology into its current solutions. The company said Scanther Mobile's software make its easy for businesses and brands to create iOS or Android apps, without requiring development resources. Scanther's co-founders, J Archuleta and Austin Archuleta, will both join Advice Interactive. Advice Interactive is led by Bernadette Coleman.
