Spiceworks Updates IT Management Software

Austin-based IT management software developer Spiceworks said over the weekend that the company has released a new update to its flagship software. Spiceworks--which recently raised a big $57M funding round--said its Spiceworks 7.2 software includes enhancements as a new help desk; custom columns; ability to add purchases from the help desk, and more. Spiceworks is led by Scott Abel; the company's backers include Goldman Sachs, Adams Street Partners, Tenaya Capital, and others.
