Spanning Rolls Out Major Update To Salesforce Backup Tool

Austin-based Spanning Cloud Apps, the startup led by Jeff Erramouspe which is developing backup software for cloud-based applications such as Google and Salesforce, has released a big update to its Spanning Backup for Salesforce software. According to Spanning, the update includes features to make it easier for end users to compare and recover previous versions of Salesforce data objects. The company also announced a new "100% restore guarantee" for Google Apps data, guaranteeing that the company can backup up all of the data in Google Apps 100 percent of time, or it will pay ten times their money back for each, failed restore operation for a user account. Spanning is backed by Foundry Group.
