Spanning Cloud Apps Expands To Salesforce.com
Austin-based cloud backup and recovery service provider Spanning Cloud made a big expansion this morning, saying that it has extended its products to support Salesforce.com. The company--which previously only supported Google Apps--said its new service, Spanning Backup for Salesforce, will provide cloud-based ata backup and recovery for the popular CRM software product. Spanning Cloud said it is showing off the software at the Salesforce Dreamforce 2013 conference, and will have a full release in the first quarter of 2014. Spanning Cloud's software is used by enterprises to back up critical enterprise data stored on the cloud. The company said its software will provide automated daily backup, point-in-time data recovery, and more for Salesforce, and that it will sell the software on a per-user, per-year subscription basis.
