AT&T Ties With Udacity On Software Training
Dallas-based AT&T said today that it has tied with massively open, online course provider Udacity, to help train workers for the high tech industry. According to AT&T, they are launching a "nanodegree program" which will help teach entry-level software skills to workers looking for jobs in the tech industry. Udacity will provide its personalized coaching and career services to the effort, and At&T will provide direction on course content. Financial details of the effort were not disclosed. As part of the training effort, AT&T said it will offer up to 100, paid internships for graduates of its "nanodegree" program.
