Comfy Gets $600K To Help Students Find Rentals
Austin-based Comft, an operator of a rental marketplace aimed at student housing, said today that it has raised $600,000 in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Mike Lee of Dominion Ventures. The company said that Austin Ventures and other angels also participated in the funding. Comfy said that its service provides both mobile and web access to an online marketplace, which uses algorithms to match college and university students with off-campus housing. Other angels in the round included Mike Klayko (Brocade, Rhapsody Networks), Jeremy Andrus (Skull Candy), Mark Harris, Jare Stone, and others. More information »
