Comfy Launches New App To Help Split Bills

Austin-based Comfy, the startup which runs a student rental marketplace, said this morning that it has rolled out a new mobile app to help those same students split bills and expenses. Comfy said its new Unbill mobile app runs on Android and iOs, and helps roommates process and evenly split bills. Comfy says its app works with credit and debit cards, and helps roommates split their bills and automatically pay providers. The app works both for students, as well as others who are sharing living expenses. Comfy is initially rolling out the app in Eugene, Oregon, due to the company's large number of users around the University of Oregon. Comfy is led by Jordan Wright.
