Jericho Systems Wins SBIR Award
Dallas-based Jericho Systems, a developer of access control and content filtering software, reported this morning that it has received a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award from the U.S. Army. Size of the SBIR award was not announced by the company. Jericho said the SBIR award covers development of a single sign-on and RESTful service for the army, part of an effort to interconnect systems for the army. The military is apparently looking to use the popular, REST-based technique for accessing web services, but needs better security and single sign-on to meet data security requirements.
