Asure Software: No More Buddy Punching Time Clocks

No more punching your buddies into work early! Austin-based workplace management software developer Asure Software announced a new product today, which uses facial recognition to "punch in" workers. Asure Software said its new AsureForce AirClock uses biometric technology, which uses both PIN entry and facial recognition technology to punch in workers. Asure Software's new product is aimed at reducing time fraud due to "buddy punching" -- the age old tradition of workers helping out their buddies by punching them into work when they're late. Asure Software's new product compares a photo of workers with one on file to allow punch-in on the clock.
