HID Global Drafts University Students To Incubate New Business

Austin-based HID Global, the developer of identification and security products such as physical access control systems, RF identification systems, and other areas, is tapping MBA students at Orange, California-based Chapman University, to help the company enter new markets. According to the two, they've launched a program which will give MBA students at Chapman University access to its technology and services, and will challenge those students to identify key market opportunities and develop business plans to expand the influence of its HID Trusted Tag Services. The two said those plans will specifically go help HID address new "Internet of Things" opportunities.
