Silicon Space Technology Snags Sales, Marketing VP From Freescale

Austin-based Silicon Space Technology said Thursday that it has tapped a Freescale executive to head up its sales, marketing, business development, and product management efforts. Silicon Space Technologies said it named David Patterson as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Patterson was previously head of Freescale Semiconductor's Corporate Strategy Organization, and had previously served as Vice President and General Manager of the Multimedia Applications Division and the Cellular Products Division at Freescale. He's also served at Beceem Communications, Qualcomm, LSI Logic and Ericsson. Silicon Space Technologies develops radiation-hardened semiconductors.
