Freescale Names Sales, Marketing Chief

Austin, Texas-based Freescale Semiconductor, a manufacturer of embedded integrated circuits for the automotive, consumer, industrial, networking and wireless markets, reported Wednesday that it has hired Henri Richard as its next senior vice president and chief sales and marketing officer. Freescale said Henri boasts some 30 years of relevant experience and joins the company after serving in a similar capacity at AMD. Before that, he held various management positions at WebGain, IBM and Seagate Technology, Freescale said.
