Freescale Semiconductor Names New CFO

Austin-based chip developer Freescale Semiconductor said late Thursday that it has named Dan Durn as the company's new Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President. Freescale said that Durn replaces current CFO Alan Campbell, who is in the midst of retiring after 34 years. Durn joins Freescale from GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where he had been CFO and EVP of Finance and Administration; he also served at Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC), among other companies.
