Former Bazaarvoice Founder Hurt Backs Social Influence Marketer
Brett Hurt, the former co-founder of Bazaarvoice, is one of the investors in a provider of social influence marketing to brands. Speakr, which offers up its services to such companies as Microsoft, Kia, Corona, and Samsung, said this morning that it raised $2.9M from Allegro Venture Partners, Brett Hurt, Ed Snider (Comcast Spectacor), and Nick Gross (STRZ Enterprises). The Los Angele,s california company says it generated over three billion social impressions last year for major movie studios and Fortune 500 brands. More information »
