Celanese Buys Cool Polymers
Dallas-based Celanese, which is a chemical technology and specialty materials developer, saidt oday that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Cool Polymers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Cool Polymers develops conductive polymers, which are used in the LED (light-emitting diode) market. Cool Polymers was based in North Kingstown, RI. Celanese said the buy will help accelerate its growth in the conductive polymers market.
