NIMBOXX Partners With VDIworks
Austin-based software defined data center products developer NIMBOXX, which is venture backed by SMC Holdings, said it is partnering with virtual desktop company VDIworks. NIMBOXX said the deal will use its infrastructure platform to reduce the cost and complexity of managing virtual desktop (VDI) deployments. Financial details of the partnership were not announced. The two said the use of NIMBOXX reduces the backedn infrastructure costs for VDIworks by 50 percent. NIMBOXX develops software-defined data center products, which make it easier for data centers to reconfigure and manage their infrastructure.
