Infocyte Gets $500K For Cyber Security Efforts

San Antonio-based Infocyte, a developer of cyber security appliances, said Thursday that it has raised $500,000 in a funding for its development efforts. The funding was led by LiveOak Venture Partners. Infocyte, which is led by Chris Gerritz, says it is developing an appliance that scans workstations and servers to find indications that they are compromised, looks for unauthorized activity, and malicious code.
