Infocyte Gets $3.4M To Tackle Malware
San Antonio-based Infocyte, a developer of cybersecurity software used to hunt malware and threats in the enterprise, said this week that it has raised $3.4M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by LiveOak Venture Partners, and also included Feik Enterprises and Hollis Family Partnership. As part of the funding, LiveOak's Venu Shamapant and Coherent Cyber CEO Nicolas Hollis both join the company's board. Infocyte said it has developed automated tools to help find malware and advanced persistent threats (APTs) in enterprise networks. Chris Gerritz is the founder of Infocyte. More information »
