Bazaarvoice Consents To Compliance Officer, Clears Up DOJ Probe

Austin-based social ratings and review software company Bazaarvoice, has finally resolved the investigation by the Department of Justice into the company's post-divestiture conduct related to PowerReviews, and has agreed to appoint a new Chief Compliance Officer to monitor the company, according to the DOJ's consent decree, which was posted by the ABJ. The announcement came as Bazaarvoice announced it had revenues of $47.3M for its second fiscal quarter of 2015, an 15% year-over-year increase, with a net loss of $9.9M.
