HCC Embedded Opens Office In Austin

HCC Embedded, a UK-based company which develops embedded middleware for storage and communications products, said it has set up shop in Austin, to help it expand in the U.S. market. HCC Embeddedd it has hired Jim Yastic, formerly of such companies as Freescale Semiconductor, Metrowerks, and Quadros Systems, to head up its Austin office and expansion. The company did not say how many people it intends to hire in the new location, which it says will help with closer partnership and improved customer service for its customers.
