Powered Opens Silicon Valley Office

Austin-based Powered announced today that it has opened a new office in San Mateo, California. The firm, which provides interactive marketing products, said the office will allow it to work more closely with regional customers. Powered said that Randy Atherton, its newly appointed Vice President of Sales, will head the office. Atheron has previously served at Apple, Kana Communications, Raindance Communications and Saratoga Systems. Powered is venture backed by Austin Ventures and Liberty Mutual.
