Dialpad Sets Up Operations Hub In Austin

Dialpad, a Silicon Valley company which provides cloud communications services, said this morning that it has opened up a new office in Austin, to serve as a new hub for its sales, customer support, and professional services staff. According to Dialpad, the new office is within the Austin WeWork facility in University Park. Dialpad said it currently employes 29 people at its Austin office, and is recruiting at the location with plans to hire an additional 6 employees before the end of the year. Dialpad cited the "very vibrant tech scene" in Austin, plus a workforce which is already skilled and experience in cloud business. The company said Austin's workforce is "similar to Silicon Valley's" and said it was "easy to put our operations hub in Austin."
