P97 Networks Gets $8M For Mobile Fuel Commerce
Houston-based P97 Networks, a developer of cloud-based, mobile commerce software for the fuel industry, has raised $8M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Emerald Technology Ventures and American Trading and Production Corporation (ATAPCO). According to P97, Chris Vaslet of Emerald Technology Ventures joins its board. P97 Networks has developed cloud-based software called PetroZone, which connects gas stations, convenience stores, and other fuel retailers with consumers via their phone and connected cars, giving them personalized offers, marketing, and options for lower fuel prices. P97 Networks said it was advised by Pharus Advisors in the funding. More information »
