SecureNet Acquisition Deal Completes

Austin-based SecureNet Payment Systems is now officially part of payment technology firm Worldpay, Worldpay said Monday. Worldpay is acquiring SecureNet from private equity investor Sterling Partners. SecureNet offers up a cloud-based platform for integrating point-of-sale, mobile and eCommerce payments processing, inventory management and data analytics for merchants. Worldpay also said that it will continue a commitment to the Austin technology community. Worldpay is owned by Advent International and Bain Capital. The two originally announced the deal in November.
